The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA) has unveiled the lineup for its 2025-26 concert series. The series features a diverse group of eight acclaimed performers representing various musical genres, to be held at AMFA’s Performing Arts Theater.

Season tickets, priced at $426 or $386 for AMFA members, will be available for purchase on May 6, 2025. Individuals who buy before May 11, 2025, can receive a $32 discount. Additionally, tickets for individual performances will be available starting on July 14, 2025.

Dr. Victoria Ramirez, Executive Director of AMFA, stated, “AMFA’s concert series covers a variety of genres, but all the artists are so phenomenal that they really defy genre and continuously deliver great live performances. The 2025-2026 concert series will be the best one yet.”

The upcoming series includes performances by Ms. Lisa Fischer and Grand Baton on Sept. 11, 2025, Camille Thurman with Darrell Green Quartet on Oct. 23, 2025, James McMurtry with BettySoo on Nov. 13, 2025, Phil Cook on Dec. 11, 2025, Bette Smith on Jan. 22, 2026, Lost Bayou Ramblers on Feb. 19, 2026, African Rhythms Alumni Band on March 12, 2026, and Kaia Kater on April 2, 2026. All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Each performer brings a unique flavor to the lineup. Ms. Lisa Fischer, well-known for her work with the Rolling Stones and Luther Vandross, will present a mix of soul, jazz, and rock. Camille Thurman, recognized for her contributions to jazz, will showcase her talent alongside the Darrell Green Quartet. James McMurtry, known for his rock ‘n’ roll and lyrical storytelling, is set to make an appearance with guest BettySoo.

Phil Cook offers a solo piano album performance that bridges folk and blues. Bette Smith combines soul and rock with gospel influences. The Lost Bayou Ramblers provide a Cajun, punk, and psychedelic mix, while the African Rhythms Alumni Band pays tribute to jazz legend Randy Weston. Finally, Kaia Kater will share songs from her album celebrating women’s strength.

Founded in 1937, AMFA stands as Arkansas’s largest cultural institution. It focuses on visual and performing arts, with a collection featuring works from artists across the U.S. and Europe. The museum supports diversity through educational programs and children’s theater.
